    Verdict per client

    Best default choice

    iPogo

$5 a month, low learning curve, fast rebuilds after Niantic updates. If you are choosing your first licence, choose this one.

    Best for automation

    Shungo

$17 a month buys scripted routes and conditional catching rules. Only worth it if routes will run most days — and it is the riskiest usage pattern.

Best if you want a product, not a project

    PGSharp Rooted Edition

Monthly billing, published release notes, a support desk. Same feature ballpark as iPogo; the appeal is how it is run.

    Best for tinkerers

    PokeMod

Pro is $7 a month and runs as a Magisk module on the official client, so you keep the stock app but gain deep settings, overlays and enhanced throws.

    Best automation value

    PGTools

Free APK download with staff-issued licences. PaC, PaS and PaH modules give rooted phones route and automation control without a monthly joystick-licence fee.

    Best for multi-phone setups

    PolygonX

Evermore Labs' Patreon launcher runs on the official client. Standard Edition ($5 a month) covers three phones, making it the cheapest way to run a small farm.

    Comparison FAQs

iPogo vs Shungo — which is better?

iPogo for manual play with a joystick, IV overlay and enhanced throws at $5 a month. Shungo for scripted routes and rule-based automation at $17 a month. Shungo is not a better iPogo, it is a different tool.

iPogo vs PGSharp on a rooted phone?

Feature sets are close. iPogo is a single monthly licence and rebuilds quickly after game updates; PGSharp bills monthly with release notes and support. On a hidden-root device both survive far longer than an unrooted PGSharp install.

    Shungo vs PGSharp for automation?

Shungo, without much argument. PGSharp gives you auto-walk and enhanced throws; Shungo gives you multi-stop routes, timing control and conditional rules.

Which is cheapest over a month?

PGTools ships a free APK with staff-issued licences, while PolygonX needs a Patreon membership with Evermore Labs. Among the licences we sell, iPogo is $5 a month, PokeMod Pro is $7 a month, and Shungo is $17 a month. We do not sell lifetime licences.

Can I run more than one client on the same phone?

Yes, but not on the same profile at once. iPogo, Shungo and PGSharp are all modified game clients, so you switch between builds. PGTools is an automation suite rather than a joystick client, so its modules run alongside whichever client you use.
