    Who we are

LocationSpoofing.com is an online store for rooted Android phones prepared for Pokémon GO. We sell configured Google Pixel, Samsung Galaxy and OnePlus handsets, with optional upgrades and mod licences, and publish the setup guides and comparisons that sit alongside them. This page explains who we are, how the comparison pages are tested, and where our commercial interest sits.

    The company behind the store

LocationSpoofing.com is operated by PrivacyPortal Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 14907634. PrivacyPortal also sells configured Android devices through its main store.

Registered office: 16 Commerce Square, Lace Market, Nottingham, NG1 1HS, United Kingdom.

For product questions, order help or after-sales support, email support@privacyportal.co.uk. You can browse our rooted phones and setup guides, or read how ordering works. Checkout is available without an account; creating an account after purchase is optional.

    Who writes these pages

LocationSpoofing.com editorial team — Device build and testing team, UK.

We build, root and ship the handsets sold on this site. Every mod client we write about is installed and run on our own bench devices before a page is published or revised.

We publish under the team name rather than individual bylines: everyone who touches a device build also reviews the pages about it. Editorial contact: editorial@locationspoofing.com.

    Testing methodology

    1. Licence prices are the figures we pay or observe on the developer's own checkout, converted to USD and re-checked each review cycle.
    2. Feature rows are confirmed by installing the current build on a bench device (Pixel 7, Android 13, Magisk 30.7 with Zygisk hiding) and using the feature ourselves.
    3. Update cadence is measured from the developer's own release channel — site changelog, Discord announcements or GitHub releases — not from third-party download sites.
    4. Where a feature could not be verified on our own hardware in the current review cycle, the row reads “unverified” rather than being estimated.

Bench reference device: Pixel 7, Android 14, Magisk 30.7 with Zygisk and a Pokémon GO DenyList entry — the same build we ship.

    Review and update schedule

    • Mod client pages and the comparison matrix are re-tested monthly, and again within days of a Pokémon GO client update.
    • Every page carries a “last verified” date. If the date is stale, treat the numbers as unconfirmed.
    • Corrections are made in place and the verification date is reset — we do not silently edit prices or feature rows.

    Last reviewed 28/08/2026.

    Commercial interest and independence

    • We sell rooted handsets and monthly mod client licences, so we profit when you buy hardware from us.
    • We are not the developer of iPogo, Shungo, PokeMod, PGTools, PolygonX or PGSharp, and we are not paid by them to recommend them.
    • We recommend the free clients (PGTools, PolygonX) where they genuinely fit, including when that means no licence sale.
    • We never claim ban immunity. Spoofing breaks Niantic's Terms of Service and can get an account banned.

    Primary sources we rely on

    • Developer release channels

iPogo, Shungo, PokeMod, PGTools, PolygonX and PGSharp official sites, changelogs and Discord announcement channels.

    • Niantic Terms of Service

Niantic's published Terms of Service and Three-Strike Policy, used for all ban-risk statements.

    • Magisk project

Magisk 30.7 release notes and Zygisk / DenyList documentation.

    • Our own bench testing

Install and run logs from the rooted devices we build, recorded per review cycle.

    • Customer support tickets

Anonymised, aggregated support volumes used for the “common issues” tables.

    Citing or reusing our data

Journalists, YouTubers and bloggers are welcome to quote our comparison figures with a link back. The citable version lives on the resource roundup.
