PolygonX: Evermore Labs' automation launcher for the official client

    Visit the PolygonX website

PolygonX is built by Evermore Labs and distributed through a paid Patreon membership. It launches the original Play Store Pokémon GO app and automates catching, spinning, grunts and raids — it is an automation tool, not a joystick app.

Paid Patreon membership with Evermore Labs (tier price set by the developer)
    Licence
Monthly Patreon membership — no lifetime option, and resold 'keys' are not official
    Root
    Yes — rooted Android only
    Best for
Players who want unattended catching and raiding on the unmodified game client

    What PolygonX actually does

PolygonX does not replace Pokémon GO. It launches the original app from the Play Store and drives it, which is why it needs root: the automation layer has to sit below the game rather than inside it.

Evermore Labs is explicit that features which would harm other players — gym battles and PvP — will never be implemented. Everything it automates is single-player grind: catching, releasing, spinning, Rocket grunts and raids.

    • Auto-catch and auto-release with filters
    • Auto-spin PokéStops
    • Team GO Rocket grunt battles
    • Legendary raids plus Dynamax and Gigantamax battles
    • Runs against the unmodified official client

    How you actually get it

Access is a membership on Evermore Labs' Patreon page, billed monthly — the developer sets the tier price, so check the Patreon before budgeting. Third-party shops that sell 'PolygonX keys' are resellers, not the developer, and licence problems bought that way are not supportable.

Because PolygonX has no joystick of its own, you also need a mock-location app for movement. Our devices ship with one configured alongside the mod clients.

    PolygonX mod updates

Reviewed 28/08/2026. What changed recently, what breaks most often, and how to stay out of trouble.

    Recent changes

    1. August 2026

Update following the August game client release

Automation modules were rebuilt against the new client; members get the build through the Patreon posts rather than an in-app updater.

    2. June 2026

      Broader raid automation

Dynamax and Gigantamax battles joined the existing legendary raid handling, which is the clearest gap versus older automation tools.

PolygonX launches but the game does nothingRoot hiding is failing or the module predates the current game build. Confirm Zygisk hiding with Pokémon GO on the denylist, then update to the current member build.
Avatar never moves during automationExpected — PolygonX automates actions, not movement. Set your position with the mock-location app first.

    Safety notes

    • Spoofing breaks Niantic's Terms of Service. Every client on this page carries a real ban risk — use an account you could afford to lose.
    • Only install builds from the developer's own site or Discord. Repackaged APKs on aggregator sites are the most common source of credential theft in this scene.
    • Never sign into a modded client with your main Pokémon GO account's password on a device you did not set up yourself.
    • Keep Magisk 30.7 hiding and the Pokémon GO denylist entry intact. Once hiding fails, mod clients stop working — often silently rather than with an error.
    • Automation is the most detectable usage pattern in this category. Shorter sessions at human pace last longer than continuous farming.
    • 'Free PolygonX APK' pages are fakes — the app is distributed to members only.

    PolygonX alternatives worth considering

    • PGTools

The closest comparison — modular automation for rooted Android.

    • iPogo

If you want a joystick and overlays rather than automation.

    • PokeMod

Magisk module with granular control on the official client.

    PolygonX FAQs

    Is PolygonX free?

No. PolygonX is distributed through a paid Patreon membership with Evermore Labs, billed monthly. Sites advertising a free APK are not the developer.

    Does PolygonX need root?

Yes. It drives the official Play Store client from outside the app, which requires root — there is no unrooted mode.

    PolygonX or PGTools?

Both automate the official client on rooted Android. PGTools splits its work into PaC, PaS and PaH modules with staff-activated licences; PolygonX bundles catching, spinning, grunts and raids behind one membership.
