PGTools: Three automation modules — PaC, PaS and PaH — for rooted Android only

    Visit the PGTools website

PGTools is an automation suite, not a calculator. PaC farms stops and catches, PaS shiny-checks, PaH hatches eggs — and every module needs a physical, rooted Android device. Emulators and virtual machines will not run it.

    Best for
Hands-off farming, shiny checking and egg hatching on a rooted phone

    Root is not optional

PGTools states it plainly: you need a physical, rooted Android device. Virtual machines and emulators will not work, and neither will an unrooted handset. That is the single most common reason a download fails to run.

Every phone we ship is a physical device rooted with Magisk 30.7 and hidden with Zygisk, which is the environment PGTools expects.

    • Physical rooted Android only — no emulators or VMs
    • Free APK download; licence activation is arranged with PGTools staff on Discord or Facebook
    • Final and Beta builds are published at v6.0.6, supporting Pokémon GO 0.425.1
    • Data Hub (v2.4.2) is a separate app supplying Rocket coordinates with grunt type and gender filters

PaC — the farming and catching module

PaC is the workhorse. Spin Mode only spins PokéStops and Gyms for fast item farming; Catch Mode runs Normal, Fast or Ultimate Catch, the last scanning and catching in the background.

Around that sit catch filters, berry feeding before a throw, enhanced catching with Excellent Throw, Curveball and Expert Handler, PokéBall priority and minimum/maximum ball counts, and Touch N' Go to return to the map after each action.

    • Transfer and keep filters by IV, shiny, hundo, shundo, 0% IV, egg hatches, quest catches and XXS/XS/XL/XXL size
    • Mass transfer, mass evolve and purify, plus evolve before transfer
    • Show IV instead of name in inventory
    • Item management with automatic use of Mystery Box, Gimmighoul Coin Bag, Daily Adventure Incense, Incense, Star Piece, Lucky Egg and Lure Modules
    • Auto hatch eggs per-incubator, buddy feeding and petting, quest and Special Research completion
    • Visual Disguiser and Screen Feature to cut lag, heat and screen burn
    • Incognito name, friend gifting tweaks, encounter/catch/spin limits, config import and export

    PaS — the shiny checker

PaS exists to check spawns for shinies and rare stats without you watching the screen. You can set the starting cooldown by date, time and last-action coordinates so it does not act inside a soft ban.

Filters cover species, level, specific IV targets for hundo or PVP, gender, form, costume and size, with an exclusion list for anything you never want caught. It teleports in-app, so it runs without a joystick.

    • Set starting cooldown from your last catch or action
    • Shiny, IV, gender, form, costume and size filters plus an exclusion list
    • Enhanced catching, preferred PokéBall, berry before catch
    • Unset buddy — helps with shiny and shundo Zorua
    • Notifications for checked, caught and remaining cooldown; encounter and catch limits

    PaH — the egg hatcher

PaH is narrower: it keeps incubators loaded and eggs moving. It auto-spins a PokéStop when egg space frees up and auto-opens friend gifts to pull in 7km eggs.

Transfer and keep filters, mass transfer, IV-instead-of-name, item management, buddy handling and the same Visual Disguiser, Screen Feature and gifting tweaks come along with it.

Where PGTools fits alongside a client

PGTools automates what happens once you are somewhere. It does not replace a joystick client for free-roaming play, so most trainers pair it with iPogo or PolygonX for movement and let PaC or PaS handle the grind.

It is also the heaviest usage pattern on this site in ban-risk terms: continuous background automation looks far less human than manual play.

    1. August 2026

      Final and Beta APK v6.0.6

Both channels sit at v6.0.6 with support for Pokémon GO 0.425.1. Beta carries the same version number, so check the channel you downloaded from.

    2. August 2026

      Data Hub v2.4.2

Rocket coordinate feed with grunt customisation, including grunt gender and type, shipped as a separate APK.

    3. June 2026

Ultimate Catch and background scanning refinements

PaC's background scan-and-catch path is the mode most affected by game updates; expect it to break first and be fixed first.

    Common issues and fixes

PGTools common issues and how to fix them
    SymptomFix
Nothing runs on an emulator or virtual machineUnsupported by design. PGTools needs a physical rooted Android device — that is a hard requirement from the developer, not a configuration problem.
Module opens but does nothingAlmost always root or licence: confirm Magisk 30.7 has granted root to the module, then confirm your licence has been activated by PGTools staff.
Module stops after a game updateCheck the supported game version. v6.0.6 targets Pokémon GO 0.425.1 — a newer game build needs a newer PGTools build, or the game rolled back.
Actions fail immediately after a jumpThat is the soft ban. In PaS set the starting cooldown from your last action; in PaC use limit settings and wait the cooldown out.

    Safety notes

    • Continuous automation is the highest-risk way to play. PaC and PaS run for hours unattended, which is exactly the pattern anti-cheat looks for.
    • Use limit settings and cooldown handling rather than letting a module run flat out all day.
    • Download only from PGTools' own channels — reuploaded PGTools APKs on ad-farm sites are a known malware vector.
    • Licence activation happens through PGTools staff on Discord or Facebook. Anyone selling keys elsewhere is not the developer.
    • Root must stay hidden. Our devices ship with Magisk 30.7 and Zygisk hiding configured for Pokémon GO.

    PGTools alternatives worth considering

    • Shungo

The paid alternative for scripted routes and rule-based automation.

    • iPogo

Manual joystick play with overlays — the client most often paired with PaC.

    • PolygonX

The other rooted automation launcher, billed through Patreon.

    PGTools FAQs

    Does PGTools require root?

Yes. PGTools requires a physical, rooted Android device for every module — PaC, PaS and PaH. Emulators and virtual machines are explicitly unsupported.

What are PaC, PaS and PaH?

PaC is the farming and catching module with spin, catch and transfer automation. PaS is the shiny checker with IV, form and size filters and built-in teleportation. PaH is the egg hatcher, with auto-spin for egg space and auto-opening of friend gifts.

What is the current PGTools version?

Final and Beta APKs are both at v6.0.6, supporting Pokémon GO 0.425.1. Data Hub, the Rocket coordinate app, is at v2.4.2.

How do you get a PGTools licence?

The APK download is free; licence activation is arranged directly with PGTools staff through their Discord or Facebook channels. There is no public checkout.

    Is PGTools safe to use?

It is the highest-risk pattern we cover, because the modules automate play for hours. Use limits, respect cooldowns, and treat a permanent ban as a real possibility on any spoofed account.
