Event focus
Sendai • Tohoku and Mexico City now have ongoing Pokémon GO Stamp Rallies for visitors. Complete eight stamps in one city for its Location Background encounter. These routes are separate from the ticketed Wild Area event rallies and do not require an event ticket.
Schedule and access
| Activity | Timing or rule |
|---|---|
| Launch | 3 November 2026, 00:00 UTC (2 November, 16:00 PST) |
| End date | No planned end announced |
| Daily hours and claim cutoff | No separate daily window or claim deadline announced; check the active in-game sheet and local venue access |
| Order and access | Visit the participating stops in any order within the relevant city area |
The launch was one fixed moment. The ongoing routes do not inherit the paid Wild Area rally's 10:00–20:00 ticketed-day window. This is local in-person participation, not a remote or global stamp sheet.
Completion encounters
| City sheet | Stamps needed | Completion reward |
|---|---|---|
| Sendai • Tohoku | Eight | Lapras with the Sendai • Tohoku Location Background |
| Mexico City | Eight | Hawlucha with the Mexico City Location Background |
Either encounter can be Shiny. No numerical odds or Shiny guarantee is announced. Do not assume one city's stamps count toward the other sheet.
Participating stops
Numbers are for checking off stops, not a required route order. Use the in-game map to identify the exact participating PokéStop at each location.

Collecting stamps
- Enter the city gameplay area and approach a participating PokéStop to receive its sheet. Open the rally button on your map to see the highlighted stops.
- Spin the Photo Disc at a stop with the orange stamp marker and press the stamp onto the sheet. Press duration affects its appearance; you cannot re-press a placed stamp.
- Check the sheet after each visit. Once all eight stamps are recorded, use it to claim the corresponding encounter.
Plan your route
Group stops using the in-game map and check travel and venue access before setting off. With no announced end date, there is no need to treat the route as a three-day event challenge. For paid weekend gameplay and its different seven-stop rally, use the Sendai ticketed guide or Mexico City ticketed guide.
