Event focus
Leonids brings back Minior encounters during November. The useful play window is four hours each evening, rather than every hour between the opening and closing dates.
Schedule
| Activity | When |
|---|---|
| Window opens | 14 November 2026, 17:00 |
| Window closes | 19 November 2026, 23:59 |
| Increased wild Minior encounters | 17:00–21:00 each day |
| Time basis | Local in-game time |
The opening two days overlap Wild Area Global: its 10:00–18:00 play overlaps Minior’s evening block from 17:00–18:00. Later Leonids evenings offer a separate Minior session.
Bonuses
- More Minior encounters during the daily 17:00–21:00 block.
- Extra Stardust for catching Minior. This announcement does not extend that reward to every Pokémon.
Featured Pokémon
- Minior — Meteor Form: the form encountered in the wild.
Minior has seven core colors: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet. A new core color debuts at each shower; the announcement does not assign a named color to this window or promise that all seven appear together. Shiny availability is not confirmed in this announcement.
Form changes in battle
| Form | Battle behavior |
|---|---|
| Meteor Form | Higher Defense and lower Attack |
| Core Form | Higher Attack and lower Defense; changes when HP falls below 50% |
At introduction, form changes apply to GO Battle League, Team GO Rocket and team-leader battles. Minior is excluded from the 2027 Latin America International Championships. These battle rules are separate from the encounter schedule.
Before your session
- Set your reminder for 17:00, the encounter increase, rather than the event’s late final closing time.
- Leave Pokémon storage for the catches you intend to check, then sort between evenings.
- Recheck the official update nearer the event, especially for a future-year date or a core-color announcement.
