When starting an event thread, include its full name, date, region, local-time or UTC basis and a source link. Separate an official announcement from a member observation. Ticket, location and eligibility conditions can matter; link the actual event page instead of assuming one schedule applies everywhere.
For a public route, explain the region, purpose, approximate length, route source and last check date. Describe coordinates in text and avoid link shorteners. Do not publish a home address, someone else's movements, restricted-access locations or a route inferred from private location history.
Use descriptive titles so discussions remain useful after an event ends. Update a post when its source changes and explain the correction. A route or timer does not guarantee eligibility, encounters or protection from game-account enforcement.
